I had a critique today in my "experimental drawing" class that left me leaving very annoyed. So, i found this guy, whom I've seen before, for example, 'him', the little hitler that scares the shit out of you after you've realized it is not, however a little boy knealing, but HIM.
Maurizio Cattelan, not taking art so seriously like the conceptual art kids in my drawing class who use big words for their big egos.
an interview with the man.

I TEND NOT TO WORK WITH A SPECIFIC PERSON IN MIND.

I TRY TO DISCUSS IT WITH EVERYONE: EVERY PIECE IS A TEST,

The Hitler piece was in Beaubourg this summer. Argh. So impressive. I'd love to see more of his works!
